First, I would like to thank all the teachers, staff and batchmates 
for giving me the opportunity to speak to you. 
3 years ago, when I first came into this school, I was a little nervous. 
Coming from a relatively small sized water tank where I stayed for 6 years, 
to the gigantic school of International School Manila, 
I faced the pressure of trying to adjust to my new environment. 
I was just a small, purple flower in a vast garden of different flowers. 
Eventually, I was able to find my niche in this new "ecosystem". 
However, ecosystems evolve and flowers change. 
Some flowers, such as the Ryani Santosa species, grew much taller than me. Literally. 
Other flowers have too much protein in their systems and started to Vigain muscles. 
And some flowers, such as the DamnDanielLee species, 
learned how to solve trigonometric equations in under 5 seconds. 
And then there's me. I may not be the tallest, buffest, or smartest person in our grade, 
but I PROMISE YOU, I have the biggest heart and I will do my best 
to plant the seed of trust, honesty and responsibility, 
and make my mark on ALL OF YOU, the Class of 2018. 
Once again, I'm Savion Garcia and I am running (running man) 
to be your next Junior Council President.

"That ride home from the game. I realized that 'that ride home from the game' is one of the best moments you can share with your child. True with all my children. It is when they could be at their rawest and truest -- either so proud of themselves and their team, jubilant or frustrated or angry, or disappointed etc. (just a warning though -- your heart will hurt more than theirs if they lost or did not play well). It is a perfect time to connect with your child, a perfect time to talk about life and its lessons - without them, or even you, noticing it. 'That ride home from the game' is precious. If you can, do it."
